
Residents of DeSoto, Texas, looking to voice their concerns or hear the latest on safety in their community will have a chance to do just that at an upcoming town hall meeting. DeSoto Police Chief Joe Costa is set to host his semi-annual Public Safety Town Hall Meeting this Thursday, opening the doors of the City Council Chambers to the public for a session starting at 6 pm, according to the DeSoto Police Department.
The event, slated for February 1st within the confines of the DeSoto City Hall, will provide citizens a direct line to discuss public safety issues, initiatives, as well as any personal concerns they might want to be addressed by the local police force and the Chief himself and with crime being an ever-present topic in the local discourse. This meeting has been positioned as a crucial platform for transparency and dialogue.
