The City of Detroit Office of Contracting and Procurement, operating on behalf of the General Services Department, has issued a call for proposals to get construction and remediation services rolling for its ACE Arts Alley Project.
This initiative aims to transform a collection of residential and commercial alleys, five in total, into canvases for creativity and culture. A public announcement was made that proposals are due by February 5, at 3:00 pm EST following a pre-bid meeting that took place on January 18 via Microsoft Teams. Notably, proposers had up until January 19 to pose any questions concerning the project, ensuring transparency and clarity in the bidding process.
Details about the ACE Arts Alley Construction/Remediation Phase I were published by city officials on January 23. The update, including meeting IDs and passcodes, was posted on the City of Detroit website for prospective bidders to prepare their submissions.
