A Domino's pizza delivery man was fatally shot in a West Palm Beach neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon, creating a lock-down situation at a nearby elementary school. The victim, identified as 33-year-old Tommie Anderson of Riviera Beach, had just made a delivery for a birthday party before being gunned down near Ninth Street and Douglass Avenue, according to police.
West Palm Beach Police received a 911 call at approximately 12:50 p.m., with dispatchers alerted to the shooting. Responding officers found Anderson with gunshot wounds lying in the middle of the road. He was quickly transported to St. Mary's Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
