Authorities in Floyd County are on the hunt for a camouflage-clad man after a violent store robbery was caught on tape last Friday. The suspect shattered a store window with force, brandishing a firearm and aggressively demanding money from a clerk, as FOX 5 Atlanta reported.
The frightening ordeal unfolded in Marmuchee, Georgia when the assailant, his identity obscured by military garb, broke the glass and pushed his weapon through. He fervently ordered the clerk to hand over the cash, shouting, "Where's the money bag at? Give me the money bag now … Come here and give me the money bag now," as caught in the surveillance footage. Distressed, the clerk complied by giving him a cardboard box believed to contain the store's money, and the man quickly fled the scene.
With few leads to go on, the Floyd County Police Department has made a public appeal for assistance. They hope that someone might recognize the perpetrator's voice or offer any other information to aid in the investigation, according to WSB-TV. The stark video records the robber forcefully instructing the confounded clerk, "Give me the bag now," to which the clerk replies, "Bag?" only for the robber to insist, "Yeah, money."
