Chaos erupted at a Plantation Best Buy parking lot Saturday night when gunfire broke out, leaving four people injured—one critically. According to NBC Miami, the violence ensued after 8 p.m. at the electronics hub located on West Sunrise Boulevard.
As four individuals were leaving the store, they were confronted by another party. In the ensuing altercation, shots were fired, striking two from the departing group, WSVN reports. Plantation Police Det. Robert Rettig informed NBC Miami that one victim is now fighting for their life in the hospital, and the other individual is reported to be in stable condition, the remaining two—a bystander within the store and another outside, both were also hit by gunfire and are now in stable condition.
Authorities are actively seeking the assailants who remain at large. Evidence of the shooting was clear, with blood marking the scene and the Best Buy entrance punctuated by bullet holes.
Rescue teams rushed to the scene as the wounded received medical attention. Shattered glass and a white SUV pocked with bullet holes in the passenger side window. Plantation Police are piecing together the confrontation, working to apprehend those responsible, as per WSVN.
