Residents of the 8900 block of Fairbloom Lane found their neighborhood at the center of a police investigation following a high-speed incident earlier this week. According to a statement from Constable Mark Herman's Office, a suspicious vehicle caught the attention of locals as it barreled down their street and eventually came to a stop in a cul-de-sac on January 14. Walking away from the damaged car, the driver fled the scene only to be apprehended shortly after by deputies responding to calls about the vehicle.
Upon discovery, the man identified as Aidan Trinh displayed signs consistent with intoxication. Constable Herman's deputies, without delay, conducted Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, which concluded the driver was indeed intoxicated. Describing the incident, Hermann noted that Trinh was then placed under arrest.
Hermann's office further revealed in their social media post that Aidan Trinh faced the charge of Driving While Intoxicated after his apprehension. Transported to Harris County Jail, his bond was set at a mere $100.00 by County Court 15.
