During a routine traffic check in the area of Kenchester Drive, local law enforcement officials made a significant arrest tied to a disturbing warrant. The driver, identified as Felipe Bermudez, was stopped by deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office on January 17.
Investigations following the traffic stop quickly escalated when it was discovered that Bermudez was not just another motorist with a faulty tail light. He was a suspect with an open felony warrant to his name. This warrant was no trivial matter; it pertained to an egregious charge of Indecency with a Child through Sexual Contact.
The information regarding the arrest and the details of the bond were relayed by Constable Herman himself. In a statement, he said, "Felipe Bermudez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrant. His bond was set at $75,000.00 out of the 230th District Court," according to the Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
