A man has been cuffed in a park bust with meth on him, police said.
Jeremiah Turner, nabbed by a deputy from Constable Mark Herman's Office in a community park within the 20000 block of Timber Forest Drive, was found holding Crystal Methamphetamine and a variety of other pills, the Constable's Office stated. The suspect initially drew attention for acting suspiciously in the park on January 23, which led to his check and the discovery was an open Misdemeanor Warrant for Harassment issued against him.
The aftermath of the discovery saw Turner getting arrested and subsequently lodged at the Harris County Jail on outstanding warrants and a new charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
"Jeremiah Turner was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrants and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. His bond was set at $5,100.00 out of the 209th District Court and County Court 1." Herman shared in the official charge statement. Information about Turner’s legal representation or his plea to the charges was not immediately available at the time of this report.
