A man was nabbed by law enforcement for pushing his vehicle's speedometer way past the legal limit. The Harris County Constable's Office reported that on January 26, deputies clocked Hunter Fisher tearing down Huffmeister Road at a speed that would make a race car driver double-take - over double the 40 mph speed limit. Fisher's antics didn't stop there; he was also darting dangerously around other cars on the road.
In a statement by the Constable's Office, posted on Facebook, the incident was detailed, noting the driver's willful disregard for the safety of persons and property.
Following the pursuit, Fisher was charged with Reckless Driving. "Hunter Fisher was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Reckless Driving. His bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 16," reported Constable Mark Herman.
