A Harris County neighborhood resulted in the arrest of a woman after deputies arrived at the 22100 block of Sixpence Lane. The disturbance call, which came in on January 22, quickly turned into an assault case when deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office were able to swiftly detain the suspect at the scene. Identified as Ashley Sierra, the woman was accused of assaulting another individual, and inflicting pain.
According to the details released by Constable Mark Herman's Office, the investigation that followed the initial detainment soon confirmed the allegations against Sierra. In their statement, the office disclosed, "Ashley Sierra was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Assault." They further noted that her bond was to be set at a mere $100.00 out of County Court 12.
As the story has developed, limited information regarding the circumstances of the assault or the condition of the complainant has been provided.
The Harris County Constable's Office has provided no additional comments on the matter. The representation for Ashley Sierra, if she has acquired any, has yet to step forward to publicly address the accusations levied against her. It remains to be seen how this case will proceed through the legal channels and what repercussions, if any, will come to bear on Sierra following the assault charges that have been now publicly lodged against her person.
