
A fiery three-car wreck claimed the life of one person on Houston's northside Tuesday morning. The deadly encounter occurred on the 22400 block of Aldine Westfield Road, near the green swath of the Mercer Botanic Gardens and Hirschfield Road, as per officials from the area.
Local authorities confirmed the road's closure following the crash, only to later announce its reopening to the flow of unsettlingly normal traffic. The constellation of circumstances leading up to the tragic event remains unknown, with the number of possible injuries still under wraps.
The Harris County Pct. 4 Constable's Office is leading the inquiry into this horrendous incident, according to a report by ABC13.com. The office has yet to release further details surrounding the crash as their investigation progresses.
