Arriving swiftly at the scene, law enforcement officers encountered the suspect, named Tyrone Taylor, who chose to quickly flee on foot. Following a brief chase, Taylor was arrested and charged with Evading Arrest and Criminal Trespass of a Habitation, according to Hermann's office. The suspect's attempt to evade the deputies was thwarted by their prompt response.

Constable Mark Herman stated, "Tyrone Taylor was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Evading Arrest and Criminal Trespass of a Habitation. His total bond was set at $200.00 out of County Court 16."
