A man in his 50s was found shot to death outside a Jack in the Box restaurant in Houston early Thursday morning, according to local authorities. The Houston Police Department reported the discovery at 16310 South Post Oak Road at around 7:10 a.m., though they believe the shooting occurred several hours earlier, shortly after 3 a.m. The victim, whose identity is yet to be disclosed, was pronounced dead at the scene from a gunshot wound by responding paramedics.
Houston police have stated surveillance footage captured the moment the suspects approached the man in the parking lot and subsequently shot him. Following the early morning violence, law enforcement is on the hunt for two suspects, described by the authorities as one Black male in his 40s or 50s and another who appears to be in his teens or 20s, as reported by FOX26 Houston.
The police have not yet ascertained a motive for the shooting, with the investigation ongoing.
