The tour is also slated to honor the resonance of landmark album anniversaries, notably 35 years of "Rhythm Nation," 30 years of "Janet," and a quarter-century of "The Velvet Rope," according to the reports from Variety.
Amid the flare of anticipation, the Boston Celtics' playoff dance last season had caused Jackson to briefly delay an Atlanta show. This time around, the NBA Finals are expected to conclude well before Jackson's Boston appearance, ensuring that the rhythm nation can convene without the slightest delay.
The electrifying duo’s anticipated performance at TD Garden comes off the back of Jackson's 2023 tour, which, forged under her commanding presence, was the highest-selling jaunt of her career and packed venues to the seams with 36 sold-out shows. Ticket sales are officially open this week.
