Chaos erupted at a local restaurant on Spring Cypress Road when an attempted escape led to a woman in the parking lot being injured last week, authorities report. According to Constable Mark Herman's Office, deputies were dispatched to a disturbance involving a man and two women on January 13th.
The scene turned to frenzy after the deputies arrived and the male suspect, now identified as Christopher Cousan, bolted from the premises and in his flight, knocked down an innocent bystander, causing her to sustain a head injury.
Details provided by Constable Herman's Facebook page tell us that Cousan was subsequently arrested and now faces charges for evading arrest; meanwhile, the woman he knocked over was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment due to a lacerated head suffered in the tumble.
"Christopher Cousan was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Evading Arrest. His bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 15." in a statement released by Constable Mark Herman.
Cousan's arraignment date has yet to be disclosed to the public.
