
Miami residents should brace for a mixed bag of weather conditions this week, starting with mostly cloudy skies today and a cooler early morning, as per reports from the National Weather Service.

Winds are expected to pick up, reaching speeds around 14 mph with possible gusts up to 22 mph, and the possibility of a 20 percent chance of showers in the wee hours between 3 am and 5 am tonight.
Beachgoers should note that high rip current dangers and small craft advisories are in place for the day, and the choppy seas between seven and 10 feet can make conditions hazardous, it's cool this morning with temperatures having dropped to the low 60s under previously clear skies, but the forecast suggests a warming trend moving temperatures back into the mid-70s. Tuesday's conditions point to significantly stronger winds that could see gusts of up to 38 mph, according to NBC Miami.
Looking ahead to Tuesday night, showers and thunderstorms are likely before 1 am, with a 70 percent chance of precipitation, while severe storms are not anticipated, the potential for damaging wind, frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall remains, "The most intense action should remain north of our area, but we will still have impacts as the front brings storms through," as stated in NBC Miami.
Come Wednesday morning, however, the weather is predicted to stabilize with a cooler air mass bringing temperatures down, residents can expect partly sunny days with highs hovering near 75 degrees with a slim chance of thunderstorms before 7 am and this respite will be short-lived as another cold front is set to roll in by Saturday, bringing yet another line of storms through the area.
As the week progresses, the temperature is forecasted to climb to a high near 81 degrees on Friday, presenting a partly sunny day. By nightfall, the chances of showers and thunderstorms linger at 20 percent, with lows expected to settle around a comfortable 72 degrees, in accordance with the National Weather Service.
