The Minneapolis Police Department is on the lookout for a suspect involved in a series of violent street crimes last December, requesting the public's aid to bring the assailant to justice. This individual, according to the police, is responsible for a string of brutal attacks that left multiple victims suffering in the cold Minnesota winter. The mayhem began with the assault and robbery of a man near 12th St S and Lasalle Av on December 7th.
Described as a black male in his 30s, around 5'9" tall with black hair and a goatee, the suspect didn't stop there. Authorities say, he also targeted two women on December 3rd; hitting them with a handgun and making off with a purse close to 5th St S and Hennepin Ave. On the same day, he allegedly escalated his violence further by shooting a man during an attempted robbery, consequently hijacking the man's car near 4th Av S and Lake St. The vehicle was later discovered abandoned and scorched in Bloomington.
Law enforcement has taken to social media to spread the word about the hunt for the assailant. In a Facebook post, the Minneapolis Police shared images of the man believed to be responsible for these crimes. The public is urged to dial 911 if they spot this individual and to remain cautious, as he is considered dangerous.
