A grisly discovery was made near the Katy Freeway in Barker Cypress, where a deputy found what appears to be a human skull. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office reported that their CSI and Homicide investigators were called to the 100 block of Baker, a dense wooded area, after the remains were located.
Details are currently sparse as the investigation is in its initial stages. In a post on X by Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the sheriff stated, "Units located what appears to be a human skull. No other details." The lack of immediate further information leaves a grim mystery as to the identity and the circumstances surrounding the death of the individual to whom the skull belonged.

Authorities have cordoned off the area and commenced a thorough search, likely in search of additional remains or any evidence that could shed light on this grim discovery.
