Oscar Mayer is seeking a new squad of Hotdoggers to pilot their iconic Wienermobiles across the United States.
According to NBC Chicago, the company's nationwide search is on for 12 drivers to helm the 27-foot-long frankfurter. These lucky few will travel in pairs, hosting more than 200 pop-up events throughout the year. Applicants don't need a commercial driver's license—they just need a flair for adventure and possibly a taste for processed meat.
The year-long journey isn't just about driving from coast to coast. According to Ed Roland, overseer of the Wienermobile program, each Hotdogger is essentially running "a PR firm on wheels." In a statement obtained by NBC Chicago, Roland stressed that "They're key content contributors to all of our social media channels. It's some of the highest performing content for all of Kraft Heinz."
But this gig is more than just fun and games—and mustard. Hotdoggers are expected to pitch in on holidays and spend the majority of their time on the road, away from home. Still, the pay isn’t to be sniffed at: Oscar Mayer is offering a base salary of $35,600, weekly perks for meals and travel, and health benefits, detailed by a CNN report. Candidates will have hotel expenses fully covered and enjoy 18 days of PTO.
Oscar Mayer's doors are open until January ends.
