
A tragic turn of events unfolded in Chandler on Tuesday evening when a Phoenix man lost his life after careening through a red light and colliding with another vehicle, police reported. Justin Bradley, 36, was declared dead following the harrowing incident that occurred in the vicinity of Riggs and Lindsay roads.
The collision took place around 10:45 p.m., with Chandler Police arriving on the scene to discover a wreck involving a Chevrolet Silverado and a Kia Forte. According to 12 News, Bradley was at the wheel of the Silverado when he blew through the stoplight and crashed into the Kia. The impact was devastating enough to inflict life-threatening injuries on Bradley, while the other driver sustained minor injuries.
Impairment alongside speeding are being considered key factors in this fatal event, as stated by Chandler Police. "Currently, speed and impairment appear to be a factor in the collision," the police conveyed in a statement by FOX 10 Phoenix.
