The Portland Police Bureau has issued an urgent appeal for information that could lead to the capture of a woman accused of murdering her husband in the Lents Neighborhood. In a statement concerning last week's homicide, authorities have named Analiesa Golde as the wanted suspect for the second-degree murder of Phillip E. Pierce, 37, of Portland.

Golde, said to be on the run, could be behind the wheel of a 2015 burnt orange Toyota 4Runner, Oregon license plate 501HSB. Officials have cautioned the public that she may be armed and dangerous, and have advised anyone who sees her to immediately contact 911, rather than approaching her.

The police were initially called to the scene for a missing person report on Friday, January 26, 2024, at a house in the 9300 block of Southeast Sun Crest Drive. After the responding officers were unsuccessful in locating Pierce, a welfare check prompted by suspicious circumstances involved forcing entry into the residence. Inside, officers discovered Pierce deceased from a gunshot wound, as later confirmed by the Medical Examiner's investigation, according to the Portland Police Bureau's official release.

The Pierce family has been notified, and while they have provided a photograph of the victim for public dissemination, they are presently seeking privacy. The initial investigation, which closed off a portion of Southeast Sun Crest Drive, has since concluded and the area has been reopened to traffic. Although a specific suspect has now been identified, the detectives handling the case believe there is no immediate threat to the community at large, as stated in the police report.
