A shocking incident of indecent exposure in Redwood City has local police on high alert. On January 3rd, at approximately 12:44 p.m., a 15-year-old was subjected to a lewd act while using the facilities at Marine View Park Restroom. According to the press release issued by the Redwood City Police Department, an unidentified man exposed himself to the minor by pushing his genitals through a hole in the restroom wall.
The victim, whose identity remains protected, acted swiftly by vacating the location and informing his parents of the disturbing encounter. A Hispanic male adult is the suspect, described as having a dark complexion, standing around 5'08", and was seen wearing a black beanie and an unknown-colored jacket during the incident.
Redwood City Police have launched an active investigation into identifying the suspect. Lieutenant Nick Perna of the Redwood City Police Department has urged the community to come forward with any information that could lead to an arrest, ensuring that the victim and public’s safety remains a top priority.
