A San Antonio mother is dealing with the devastating loss of her daughter and is calling for justice in a case that remains unsolved. Khadijah Derry, 22, a former star athlete and nursing student, was shot to death a little over a month ago in front of her home in Converse, as reported by FOX San Antonio. Her mother, devastated by the loss, expressed her grief, saying, "I'm living in a nightmare knowing her daughter’s killer remains on the loose."
In a tragic event occurred while she sat in her car after returning from a salon appointment, Khadijah was shot and killed on December 6 around 8 pm. The mother, Perkins, unable to bear the sight, still can’t watch the video showing her daughter’s violent end. According to the same source, Perkins harbors the belief that her daughter was deliberately targeted and followed home by her assailant. In efforts to solve the murder, authorities are scouring through a multitude of surveillance footage, which includes a camera situated across the street from where Derry was killed.
