
A young man was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds on the southeast side of San Antonio, a grim discovery that has initiated a murder investigation by local authorities.
The body was spotted by passersby around 7 p.m. Friday in the 9500 block of South WW White Road, close to the interchange of Interstate 37 and Loop 410, the Bexar County Sheriff's Office reported. Callers alerted law enforcement after noticing "trauma" to the man's body, according to a statement obtained by KENS 5. "There's evidence that there (were) gunshots that occurred here," said Sheriff Javier Salazar, without confirming if the man was shot on-site or elsewhere.
The victim's identity remains unknown but he was described as likely being in his mid-to-late 20s or early 30s with multiple tattoos. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is seeking information from anyone who might have insights into the shooting.
