San Jose police are digging into what's been stamped as the city's third homicide of the year after a man was discovered dead in an RV last week. The grim find occurred on January 11, around 10:50 PM, when officers were called to Kruse Drive and Montague Expressway. They located an adult male dead inside a recreational vehicle, confirmed the San José Police Department.
The body, already in an advanced state of decomposition, initially didn't raise immediate red flags for foul play. But after the Santa Clara County Coroner's Office chimed in, it was revealed that physical trauma was spotted on the victim, leaping the death straight into homicide territory.
Detectives are now grasping at straws, trying to unravel the motive and the circumstances that led to this man's demise. The name of the deceased is being withheld until the Santa Clara County Coroner's Office finishes confirming his identity and contacts his next of kin.
San Jose police are urging anyone who knows something to step forward. "Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Vallejo #3810, Detective Sergeant Martinez #4117 and Detective Harrington #4365 of the San José Police Department’s Homicide Unit," stated the police department in their official communication about the case.
