The City Hall Ceremonies team will spearhead the event, taking the wedding prep stress off couples’ shoulders by meticulously handling all details. According to the city’s recent announcement, couples will bask in a catered brunch, with eye-catching décor, floral arrangements, cakes, music, and photography – all provided by local wedding vendors at a fraction of traditional wedding costs.
What's more, those who register stand a chance to win a range of prizes, including the coveted grand prize of a seven-night Princess Cruise honeymoon valued at $3,000. Participants need to be signed up by January 31, 2024 and officially say 'I do' at the February 14 event. Add a personal touch by sharing your love story via a 1-minute video submission on the City’s website by the January deadline.
These love story videos will go public during the week of February 5, shared on the City of Santa Clarita’s social media platforms for voting. "The couple with the highest number of votes will be announced during The Big I Do reception, securing the exclusive Princess Cruise honeymoon," claims the city’s blog post.
Besides the grand prize of the cruise, which is without airfare, participating couples have the opportunity to win custom rings and bridal accessories. The lovebirds set to cruise into marital bliss with Princess Cruises will work directly with a dedicated expert to tailor their honeymoon sailing experience.
