Among those having to hit pause on regular classroom activity due to the ice and perilous travel conditions are Kenedy ISD, Blanco ISD, and Leakey ISD, with Fox San Antonio reporting numerous cancellations for Monday the likes of which also include Divide ISD, Falls City ISD, and others battling against the elements to safeguard their communities, these districts join a lengthening list of areas shuttering their doors against the harsh winter's assertive grip.
Keeping the public abreast of these changes, Sabinal ISD and Rocksprings ISD are among those who announced their intentions to remain closed on Monday, with Utopia ISD also taking heed of the icy warning signs and calling off classes, these county-wide closures serve as a testament to the severity of the winter storm's relentless canvassing of the region, as authorities mull over the logistics of public safety and mobility in conditions that demand respect and prudence.
