Sports enthusiasts and supporters of our troops can now register to participate in a race that stands for much more than just breaking a sweat.
According to ABC15, the run/walk spans a symbolic 4.2 miles, representing Tillman's jersey number at ASU. Those who aren't keen on shoulder-to-shoulder racing can also join virtually. Yes, you can indeed honor a legend from the solitude of your favorite running path.
Registration fees are pegged at $42, with a hike in price after Tuesday – consider that your two-minute warning. Kids have their very own dash for a mere $10, making it a family affair. "The race is expected to sell out so sign up early if you want to attend," says the informative folks over at ABC15.
