
A determined burglar targeting a small business in Vallejo met with swift justice, thanks to vigilant police work based on a report from the business owner. The Vallejo Police Department revealed the suspect's arrest after he was caught red-handed on January 10. According to the department's Facebook page, the suspect struck the 1300 block of Lemon Street at around 10:35 A.M.
The saga began when the owner spotted a male figure lurking on the roof after having burglarized his shop, not for the first time but the second time he had seen this male assailant. The business owner presented video evidence of the criminal sporting the same attire from the first break-in. The owner reported a loss of roughly $2,500 worth of goods.
Responding to the scene with alacrity, Vallejo police officers set up a tight barrier surrounding the establishment and soon found the suspect behind the building. They managed to detain him without incident. It was discovered that the man was still clutching the stolen items, which police returned to the grateful business owner posthaste upon their confirmation of his identity.
Finalizing the operation, authorities took the man into custody, and he now resides at the Solano County Jail. The Vallejo Police Department swiftly resolved the crime ensuring minimal disruption ensued to the afflicted small business.
