Fans of bite-sized burgers from White Castle have reason to celebrate as the chain is set to add another jewel to its fast-food crown in Arizona, breaking ground on a new location in the West Valley's Goodyear. According to ABC15, the upcoming outpost, pegged at the intersection of Bullard Avenue and McDowell Road, is expected to create around 50 jobs, signaling a boost for the local economy and expanding the brand's presence in the Grand Canyon State.
White Castle has earmarked the spot just north of the I-10 for their 3,220-square-foot Goodyear locale, equipped with not just abundant indoor and outdoor seating but also a double drive-thru, and an AI-assisted menu board named "Julia" after a notable 1930s White Castle host, as noted by 12 News.
The burgeoning burger empire, which set up its first Arizona shop in Scottsdale back in 2019 and then, not too long ago, laid foundations in Tempe in 2023, seems to be on an unrelenting path to cater to the state's cravers. "The response of Cravers everywhere in the Valley of the Sun has been amazing through our first two openings in Arizona," Jamie Richardson, the vice president at White Castle, told 12 News.
