
A tragic turn of events unfolded on the south side of San Antonio where a woman lost her life in a severe rollover accident early Sunday morning, as reported by KENS 5.
The crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Del Lago Parkway and Vermillion, where the woman driver lost control of her car, causing it to flip and land on its roof, according to officials, the male passenger who was also in the car at the time was wearing a seatbelt and, after being evaluated by emergency medical services on the spot, he walked away with no injuries, but his companion wasn't as fortunate — she was declared dead at the scene, "the woman driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene and investigators say she was not wearing a seatbelt," as confirmed by MSNBC.
The San Antonio Police Department is currently investigating what exactly happened to trigger the horrific event that night. Meanwhile, the authorities have not released any additional details concerning the potential factors that may have precipitated the deadly mishap.
