Last month, a daylight robbery disrupted the Flower Shop on Stafford Street. A masked individual, wielding a knife, instigated chaos by demanding cash before swiftly fleeing the scene. Worcester Police could not immediately apprehend the suspect. However, after an investigation, they secured a warrant for the arrest of 35-year-old Tommie-Lee Goddard, pinpointed as the perpetrator.
Thoroughness in the subsequent investigation yielded results as detectives identified Goddard, who lived on the same street marked by the crime. Armed with a warrant for Robbery While Masked, law enforcement circulated a Be-On-the-Look-Out alert, setting the stage for his eventual apprehension, according to a Worcester Police Department report.
On December 30th, just a block away from the initial crime scene, Worcester's law enforcement encountered Goddard. Amidst what was characterized as disorderly conduct, he was placed under arrest when officers identified him.
