According to Boston.com, the property developed by Boylston Properties and Arx Urban commenced leasing its 279 bedrooms to tenants hoping to find a hassle-free home, fully furnished and complete with all the necessary amenities included in the monthly rent.
This new housing structure, nestled at 525 Lincoln St. in Allston, offers not only 10 studio apartments but also leases individual bedrooms within larger three and four-bedroom suites. Matching roommates according to their preferences via RoomSync, the project forges ahead with a new living experience, where arranging furniture, setting up utilities or even searching for compatible housemates are concerns left in the past. Benjie Moll, principal and founder of Arx Urban, says it's "a no friction lifestyle," as per an interview with Boston.com.
Following in the footsteps of the pioneering 7INK in Boston's South End, 525 LINC aims to ease the moving process and offer another answer to the city's dense housing market. The development boasts shared spaces such as a rooftop deck offering "spectacular Boston skyline views", according to Moll in his discussion with Boston.com, along with a ground-floor patio, fitness center, community kitchen, lounge, workspace, and even a bike room.
Renting a bedroom within these sleek, hotel-esque fully furnished suites will dent the wallet at rates starting from $1,795, while studios go for roughly $3,000 a month. However, this price does include all utilities. The development's website underscores the fact that moving should be straightforward, and living should be uncomplicated. The only significant exception in this all-encompassing rental package is their ban on pets, a policy Moll describes as necessary, told Boston.com, since animals might stir up a "lot of problems in a co-living situation." Parking is available, too, but at an additional monthly fee of $300.
