
Police in Ann Arbor are on the hunt for a masked bandit following an armed robbery late Tuesday night, as per reports from local authorities. The incident, which unfolded in the city's Rose Park on Packard Street, involved a 42-year-old man who found himself at the mercy of a knife-wielding assailant hidden behind a ski mask. According to ClickOnDetroit, the mugger made away with the victim's wallet and cellphone.
The robbery took place at about 10 p.m., triggering a police search throughout the neighborhood. Descriptions by the victim and subsequent investigation led to a manhunt for the suspect last seen fleeing toward Mary Beth Doyle Park, with the Ann Arbor Police unsuccessful in locating him, detailed by The Detroit News. Armed with a knife during the attack, the suspect inflicted a minor head injury on the victim, who declined medical attention.
