According to The Detroit News, the pair have not been seen since Friday evening, and Prowell-Smith is believed not to be stable enough to appropriately care for her child due to her history of mental illness.
Their disappearance triggered an endangered missing person advisory, detailing an incident on Friday in which Prowell-Smith allegedly assaulted a relative at a residence on the 2300 block of South Boulevard. "At this time, it has been determined that Amanda is incapable of caring for herself or her child," the Auburn Hills Police shared in a statement obtained by The Detroit News. Officials also disclosed that Eliza was present during the altercation and noted that Amanda does not have a cellular phone, vehicle, or any means to provide proper care.
