The Grant County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) are on the lookout for a suspect following a brazen daylight robbery at a Casey's store in Hoffman, Minnesota. The suspect, described as a roughly 6-foot-tall male with a thin build, made off with an undisclosed amount of cash after a struggle with the store clerk.

According to officials, the incident occurred on Feb. 8 around 1:30 p.m. when the suspect visited the store under the guise of needing change for coins. As the clerk opened the cash register, the suspect attempted and succeeded in grabbing money from the tray. Desperately, the alleged thief fled the scene, disappearing into the quiet town's streets.
Law enforcement provided a detailed description of the suspect, noting his dark hooded jacket with a white emblem on the chest, a dark hooded sweatshirt underneath, and dark pants. Accentuating his guise were his white Nike tennis shoes, a dark ring on his left hand, and dark wristbands or a watch on both wrists. Investigators further noted that the suspect appeared to be pigeon-toed.
Adding to the suspect's identifying details, authorities believe he made his escape in a 1999-2004 Chrysler 300M, a car noted for its distinct styling, with possible damage to the front driver's side fender and the left front quarter panel. After committing the robbery, the suspect's vehicle was last seen headed southwest on a gravel road out of Hoffman.
