An early morning rage incident spiraled into an axe-wielding confrontation at a Los Angeles business, sending local police into action. On February 2, at approximately 7:20 a.m., officers were dispatched to the scene following a report of vandalism. A woman damaged a vehicle with a Pogo stick outside an East Vernon Avenue business in a failed attempt to find her ex-boyfriend, according to a the LAPD.
Returning to the business four hours later armed with an axe, Lucerito Valenzuela, escalated the situation. Victim-2 was working when Valenzuela approached him, brandishing the axe overhead, forcing the man to dodge a potential strike. Upon their arrival, police officers were able to apprehend Valenzuela without further incident, having fled after damaging the car.

The Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics were called in and treated her before she was ultimately taken into custody, as reported by the Los Angeles Police Department.
