Firefighters tamed a blaze that erupted on the second floor of a mixed occupancy building in Jamaica Plain yesterday morning, according to the Boston Fire Department. The fire at 3557 Washington St. was reported at around 10:15 A.M., with flames visibly engulfing the building when fire crews arrived.
Crews moved to knock down the fire, managing to confine the flames to one area and prevent them from spreading further throughout the structure. The Boston Fire Department shared in a post that their teams were able to quickly knock down the fire and stop the fire from spreading throughout the building.
