
Tragedy struck in Brockton, Massachusetts, as police began an investigation into a vehicle collision with a pedestrian late Friday. According to WHDH, officers were spotted scrutinizing a sealed-off area along Oak Street in the wake of the incident.
Details on the crash remain thin on the ground, but it is understood that the incident occurred in the vicinity of 158 Oak Street, which lies near the local Raymond Elementary School and Brockton North Middle School – institutions nurturing the lives of the community's youngest. WCVB reports the accident involved a construction box truck, discernible through a scene cordoned off by the familiar, grim yellow of police tape.
