
A Broward Sheriff's Office deputy was involved in a car crash in Pompano Beach yesterday, resulting in both the deputy and another person being hospitalized, officials said. The collision occurred at the intersection of Southwest 14th Avenue and Third Street.
Pompano Beach Fire Rescue teams rushed to the site after the incident, which took place approximately at 5 p.m., said authorities. 7Skyforce, captured aerial footage showing the aftermath of the wreck, with both vehicles sustaining significant damage, according to a report by WSVN.
The identities of the deputy, and the civilian involved have not yet been released. As a precaution following these types of incident, the BSO deputy was promptly transported to a local hospital, as per BSO protocols. The civilian was also taken to the hospital, their conditions have not been made public.
