The community was invited to pay their respects as the officers' bodies were transported from the Medical Examiner’s office in Minnetonka, MN, to a funeral home in Jordan, MN. According to details released by the city of Burnsville, the procession began at 2 p.m. on Feb. 20, following a route from 62nd Street in Minnetonka to I-494 to US-169, leading to Jordan.
In a show of solidarity and respect, fellow public safety personnel maintained a steadfast presence alongside the fallen, upholding the poignant tradition. The public was urged to partake safely and lined up along the mapped route. The Burnsville’s official website stated, "The public can show their support throughout the route. Please use caution when finding a place along the route as traffic will not be controlled."
