Authorities in Chicago are seeking the public’s help in the search for a missing teenager, Jaslene Nieves, who vanished over a week ago. The 16-year-old was last seen on February 21, 2024, as she left her home on the 1400 block of N. Central Ave, officials reported.
Described as a Hispanic female, with olive complexion, hazel eyes, and black hair, Nieves stands at 5 feet 7 inches and weighs around 130 pounds. According to a statement from the Chicago Police Department, her lack of contact with family members since her disappearance is out of character, and this has raised concerns among her relatives and authorities alike.
On the morning of her disappearance, Jaslene Nieves was observed wearing a red hoodie and black Adidas jogging pants with white stripes. The police have issued a NIC # M247774989 to help in the search and are now turning to the public for any leads that might aid in locating the missing girl.
Investigations are ongoing, and the Chicago Police Department's Area Five Detective unit is handling the case.
