However, those with outdoor plans should take note: gusts could reach up to 20 mph on Wednesday while continuing to pick up speed into the evening, with gusts possibly as high as 25 mph.
By Thursday, those intermittent southern breezes are set to bring a 20 percent chance of rain before noon, yet they won't stop temperatures from climbing up to a comfortable high near 71 degrees. Thursday evening, the wind persists though the clouds part some, setting the stage for what appears to be a pleasant night with lows around 51 degrees.
Friday's forecast indicates a continued trend of partly sunny skies. The high is expected to peak near 72 degrees, which positions the day as a contender for the week's most temperate offering. Yet, residents should be ready to face stronger weekend forecasts. The National Weather Service anticipates showers and thunderstorms starting Saturday afternoon with a 40 percent chance of precipitation, escalating to a 50 percent chance by Sunday.
Into Sunday night, the chance of showers drops but the temperature does too, with lows approaching a brisk 39 degrees. The following Monday looks to markedly shift away from the weekend's instability with a forecast of mostly sunny skies and a cooler high near 56 degrees.
