
Dallas police are turning to the community for assistance in tracking down the shooter responsible for a recent incident on Haverwood Lane. The call to action follows a confrontation that escalated into gun violence on the afternoon of December 16, 2023.
Officials were dispatched around 3:00 p.m. to the 4700 block of Haverwood Lane, where they found, a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the thigh. According to the Dallas Police Department, the altercation started inside an office and spilled outside when the victim, who was involved in a separate argument with the suspect, pursued the assailant and subsequently got shot. The victim was alive at the scene and received immediate medical attention at a nearby hospital.
Dallas Police have not yet apprehended the suspect and are encouraging anyone with knowledge about the incident or the individual involved to step forward. Detective Austin Thomason is the point of contact for tips that could lead to a resolution of the case numbered 224781-2023.
