
A driver ran a red light in Boston on Tuesday morning and collided with an MBTA bus, authorities said. The crash happened around 7 a.m. at the intersection of Columbus Ave and Bragdon St. and involved a 63-year-old man behind the wheel of a 2000 Toyota, according to the MBTA Transit Police.

There were no injuries reported from the incident, but the Toyota suffered enough damage to warrant a tow from the scene. The driver, whose identity has not been released, is expected to be cited for running the stoplight. Police have not said if there were passengers on the bus at the time, of the collision.
The intersection was cleared shortly after the incident and normal traffic flow was resumed. The MBTA has not provided any further details on the bus's status or if there was any disruption to service as a result of the crash.
