A former employee of Judson Independent School District in San Antonio was taken into custody on serious charges of child pornography, law enforcement officials confirmed. Guadalupe County jail records reveal that Andrew Kuehne, the individual apprehended, is accused of possessing illicit material depicting a child under the age of 10.
Per a statement from Judson ISD, which was later shared with KENS 5, the district was informed of Kuehne's arrest by the Texas Attorney General's office yesterday morning, subsequently, the district has terminated Kuehne's employment due to the nature of the allegations.
The former district employee was part of the "Desktop Services" team at Judson ISD, directly in charge as "Team Lead" for the "Team North" group of computer technicians, as found on the district's official online portal. Judson ISD emphasized its commitment to student safety in the wake of this incident. "The safety of our students is our top priority, and we take situations like this very seriously," a district spokesperson told KSAT yesterday evening.
