In a recent accolade shared by the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office, the dedicated squad was hailed for their commitment to community safety, and their ongoing efforts to keep track of registered sex offenders within the city limits.
Working behind the scenes, the team's officers ensure compliance with registration laws designed to monitor the whereabouts and activities of sex offenders. Operating under the burden of a resource-intensive task, the officers are charged with verifying that sex offenders continue to live and work at the reported addresses, according to the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office.
