A fugitive wanted on an out-of-state drug possession warrant was nabbed in Harris County this weekend, authorities said. Troynoke Pierre-Gilles was caught up in the net of the law when deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office were called to a disturbance on the 3000 block of Hirschfield Road on February 24, according to a statement on the Constable Mark Herman Precinct's Facebook page.
While addressing the disturbance on arrival, deputies identified Pierre-Gilles as the subject involved. A rapid check revealed the more sinister shadow of the law was hanging over her - an open felony warrant from another state was discovered, linked to drug possession charges. It was not immediately clear what led to the disturbance, or if it was related to the arrest of Pierre-Gilles.
The details surrounding her initial transgressions remain shrouded in just as much mystery as the distance she traveled before her capture. "Troynoke Pierre-Gilles was arrested and booked into Harris County Jail for the open warrant," Constable Mark Herman stated as per the Facebook post. At the time of the arrest, details as to her bond and court date were not yet decided.
