
Violence disrupted the peace of a Harris County neighborhood when a man, swinging a metal rod, allegedly assaulted a woman and her boyfriend. In response to a reported disturbance yesterday deputies from Constable Mark Herman's office hurried to the 4200 block of Dawn Creek Lane. The complainant, scared and seeking refuge, identified the male suspect who reportedly had also vandalized her vehicle.
The suspect, named Roberto Solis-Rodriguez, didn't elude law enforcement for long. Deputies were quick on the scene and managed to track down and apprehend the accused assailant. As a consequence of his alleged actions, Solis-Rodriguez now faces serious legal repercussions.
According to a post from Constable Mark Herman's official Facebook page, "Roberto Solis-Rodriguez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault. His bond and court information have not been set at this time."
