A 16-year-old boy was cuffed in Harris County after deputies say he flashed a handgun during a heated exchange, according to law enforcement officials. Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office arrived on the scene at the 100 block of E Richey Road on February 11, following a call about a disturbance. Upon their arrival, they made contact with the young male involved, the source of the commotion.
An investigation into the incident revealed that the juvenile had brandished a weapon in the midst of a verbal spat. "The juvenile was arrested and booked into the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center, charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon," Constable Mark Herman detailed in a statement.
